Show and Tell Friday-- A "Bear" of a Winter

Show and Tell I am joining in on Kelli's Show and Tell Friday. Visit her and enjoy all the treasures being shared.

With the weather being so cold all over the country this morning, I thought I'd show you how I am warming up with a little help from my Polar Bear teapot. Isn't he cute?:)
He looks good coming...

...or going:)

This is what it looks like outside my patio door this morning.

Even my concrete goose is thinking about flying south for the rest of the winter!

But I've got the secret to keeping warm and warming my heart at the same time. My husband and I can have some nice hot tea in our mugs that we received for Christmas from our little grandson, Sam!
We can look at his sweet little face as we enjoy our morning cup of tea or coffee.

Notice the message at the bottom--I Love Grammy!

...and I Love Granddad!

Our toes might be a little chilly, but our hearts are warmed each morning by this sweet face:)

Thank you, Sam! Grammy and Granddad love you:)

I love the bear teapot and the mugs are adorable. I did that for my husband's parents for Christmas last year. I put the same thing on the bottom, one for each of them. They are such wonderful in-laws and I am truly blessed! Keep warm this weekend!

The tea pot and the mugs are lovely. Definitely would bring a smile to you face while you drink your tea.

Keep warm.

I love teapots! (Ceramics was my concentration in college.) Also, my mom is "Grammy" to my kids. Also, I love your blog background! I used to use it on my personal blog. Thanks for stopping by again :-)

The tea pot is adorable but those mugs are precious. I would love something like that of our grandchildren. Have a warm weekend!

Your polar bear teapot is adorable! I love bears, who can resist their cute little faces...and your mugs are so sweet. :-) We don't have snow here, but it is pretty chilly today nevertheless! :-)

The bear teapot is so cute, but the mugs are even more special. What a thoughtful gift and a great way to always keep your grandson within kissin' distance, lol!

Hope your weekend is a good one :)

The teapot is mighty cute, as well as your grandson Sam. It looks like we'll be needing lots of hot tea this winter. Perhaps we should fly south with the geese.

Hi, Linda....I love the title of your post today. According to your photos it looks like it is apropriate. The bear teapot is so cute and I know you're going to treasure those mugs. Don't you just love grandkid presents? Here in Phoenix the temps for the last few days have been in the 70's and I have to admit I'm enjoying it....but your photos of the snow are so lovely that it makes me miss the snow! Anyway, looks like you have the perfect antidote to a "bear" of a winter. Thanks for visiting my blog....I'm glad I found yours.
Blessings, Elaine

That little teapot is irresistable. What a sweet set of mugs too. I'm going to have to remember that cute idea for Grandparent presents.

By the way, I enjoyed my visit to our blog very much, and your diaper cake is precious! You win the prize for the cutest one I have ever seen! I bet your daughter in law was thrilled with it.

I live in the south, where temps have already been in the 80's this winter. I'd trade houses with you for just a few days. I'd love to come play in all your snow!!! But I'd let you come move back in when it was time to shovel it all. :) Hee hee..

Thanks for visiting my show and tell this week.

Well, I'm not sure what I'm more jealous of...the gorgeous snow on your patio or the grandchildren. Hmm, it's the grandchildren. I have one son BUT he is getting married this summer. I now have hope!
