Wishing You All the Best in 2009

I came across this poem that talks about new year wishes. I do wish you many pleasant things, but above all I hope we all purpose to walk closely with the Lord throughout the year.

A Happy New Year

"What shall I wish thee?
Treasures of earth?
Songs in the springtime,
Pleasure and mirth?
Flowers on thy pathway,
Skies ever clear?
Would this ensure thee
A Happy New Year?

What shall I wish thee?
What can be found
Bringing thee sunshine
All the year round?
Lasting and dear,
That shall ensure thee
A Happy New Year?

Faith that increaseth,
Walking in light;
Hope that aboundeth,
Happy and bright;
Love that is perfect,
Casting out fear;
These shall insure thee
A Happy New Year."

Hi Linda!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! That's so funny that we had the same blog backgrounds. I actually changed mine today, not because we have the same one!:)But, because I wanted a change!

I enjoy reading your blog and look forward to more!

Yes, that is Roast Beef in a can. Sorry it wasn't clear. You can use any canned meat or even cook up some hamburger and use that too.
