Stop in and visit Peggy over at Simple Woman's Daybook for more daybooks.

For Today... Monday, March 2,2009

Outside my window...most of our snow has melted and we have 7 degrees and bright sunshine. Looking forward to warmer temps this week.

I am thinking... I need to finish my grocery list for later today.

I am thankful for...a loving, hard working husband who loves the Lord and strives to do right in his daily endeavors.

From the kitchen... the wonderful smell of coffee;)

I am wearing... pajamas - I do most of my morning "puttering" in my pj's.

I am reading... today's devotional in my newest little booklet of Days of Praise- "Trust in the Lord" is the title for today-Psalm 37:3

I am hoping...and praying that our little grandson, Sam, feels better today and that his mommy and daddy don't get the stomach bug that he has!

I am creating...some baking this week- need to look through my recipes and see what looks good.

I am hearing...the hum of the furnace as it comes on to keep us warm:), the squeaky brakes from the stopping and going of the garbage truck coming down our street.

Around the house... a load of towels washing, birds feeding at the bird feeders on the deck--along with a pesky squirrel:) Beautiful sunshine flowing through the windows -uh - making it very apparent that they need to be cleaned!

One of my favorite things...hearing my daughter sing as she plays the piano.

A few plans for the rest of the week... cleaning, write some notes and mail them-yes snail-mail still lives:)-

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
Happy Birthday to my Mom, Pearlie, who was 81 last Friday:)
Love you Mom!
Thanks for all you have done and still do for your family and friends!
(there's a tribute to Mom on my Friday blog:)

Little one's sick always turn my smile upside down. And no matter how many Daybook's I read, 70% says they are washing or going to wash...I fear it's a neverending cycle. Have a blessed week!

Seems we all have so much in common! There's always wash to be done and a grocery list to fill out. Hope your little grandson is better soon!!

I am right there with ya regarding the windows!! BLEH!! One of the few chores I just really don't like! Fortunately I do like the results or it would probably never get done! HA! ;o)

Hope Sam feels better soon! We've had our fill of colds here too. I managed to avoid them all winter, but now have a head cold.

Hope your mom had a happy birthday! My mom's birthday is today. :)

Loved reading about your daily life. I smiled when I read the part about your daughter singing and playing the piano. If Mary is musically inclined, that will be one of my favorite sounds too:)
